This guide provides a step-by-step process on how to create an API request on QR API.
Introduction
Creating an API request allows users to generate Static QR Codes directly from their information system or mobile application by communicating with QR API. This article will guide users through the process of creating and sending an API request.
A. Steps to Create API Requests
- Start by signing up for QR API
- Once logged in, navigate to the API Keys section
- Click on Create to generate a unique API key
- Once the API key is generated, visit the QR API Documentation page
On the documentation page, successful API requestes can be created using the API key, for more details visit: Using QR API
B. Understanding API Requests
An API request is a GET request made from an information system or mobile application to QR API. Each valid API request generates a Static QR Code image.
- Free Trial: The free trial includes 20 API requests, allowing the generation of up to 20 Static QR Codes
- Subscription Plans: For example, with the Basic Plan, up to 500 API requests can be sent per month, enabling the generation of up to 500 Static QR Codes
For more detailed information on subscription plans, visit the QR API Pricing page.
C. Understanding Request Rate
The request rate is the maximum rate at which API requests can be sent to generate QR Codes.
For example, in the Basic Plan, a maximum of 5 API requests can be sent per second. This allows the generation of up to 5 Static QR Codes per second. Any additional requests beyond this rate will be discarded.
If a higher request rate is needed, consider upgrading to a higher plan, such as the Standard or Pro plans.
