Use this guide to know about the Renew Key in QR API.
Renew Key in QR API refers to a mechanism or functionality provided by the API to generate a new or updated authentication key for accessing its services.
In many APIs, especially those dealing with sensitive data or requiring authentication for access, it's common to use keys to authenticate requests. It act as a form of credentials that the API uses to verify the identity and permissions of the entity making the request.
API keys should be renewed or regenerated in a few cases to maintain security and integrity:
Expiration: API keys often have expiration dates for security reasons. They should be renewed before they expire to ensure uninterrupted access to the API.
Compromise: If there's any suspicion or evidence that an API key has been compromised or leaked, it should be immediately revoked and replaced with a new key to prevent unauthorized access.
Change in Access Level: If the access level or permissions associated with an API key need to be changed (e.g., granting additional privileges or restricting access), a new key may be issued with the updated settings.
Note: You can change the Renew key up to 5 times in a day.
